What is hypnotherapy?

Hypnotherapy is a guided relaxation process to enable positive changes to happen more easily. It uses access to your subconscious to improve physical conditions as well as unhelpful habits, thoughts, or emotional patterns.

Will I lose control or be unconscious? 

No. You’re always aware and in control. It isn’t mind control. You won’t do anything against your will.  You remain conscious and alert during the session.  You remember everything during and after the session.

What does hypnosis feel like?

Most people expect some magical or unusual state. It’s not that at all. You are just relaxed, with your eyes gently closed, but otherwise alert and in full conscious awareness as normal.​​​

 

Can anyone be hypnotised?

85% of the population can go easily into the relaxed state for hypnosis. Only 15% of adults do not go into trance. This is usually to do with a fear or concern about letting go. If you do not go into trance there is no fee for the session.

 

What can hypnotherapy help with?

Hypnotherapy can help with just about anything – physical and emotional issues.​

How many sessions will I need?

Hypnotherapy can be very quick. Most people witness positive changes in 1-3 sessions.

Is hypnotherapy safe?

Yes. Hypnotherapy is natural and non-invasive. It can work alongside conventional medical treatments and procedures.

 

What happens in a session?

We’ll discuss your objectives. I’ll explain some of the concepts that I use. You’ll then be guided into a relaxed state where therapy techniques can be used.
