When the Conscious Mind is Informed by the Subconscious of What Has Been
Held at an Unconscious Level...
An Understanding Emerges...
And that Understanding is the Start of Healing...

ABOUT ME
By way of introduction, my name is Rick and I am a professional chartered accountant (trained with PWC) who has spent over 30 years working in the corporate sector undertaking finance and commercial director roles in the West Midlands. I undertook due diligence and corporate acquisitions in the UK water infrastructure sector. I have a detailed forensic approach to my work and I address the topic of 'hypnotherapy' in a scientific manner to identify what is possible from a healing perspective.

Exploring Healing Modalities

Following Covid in 2020, I became interested in alternative healing modalities. As a former auditor and forensic accountant, I was extremely sceptical and a non-believer around some of the claims about healing therapies such as acupuncture, reiki, homeopathy and aromatherapy. That is because the therapist tells you that they are healing you, but you have no experience to confirm anything at all – it is all based on trust and faith. It is just a one-way communication – the therapist informing you. I am not dismissing the effectiveness of these healing modalities, in fact I believe many are helpful – it’s just that, as the client, you do not know exactly what is happening.

Why I Found Hypnotherapy was Different?

As I examined clinical hypnotherapy, I found when conducted in an appropriate manner, two-way communication can occur. The client’s subconscious mind informs the client’s conscious mind and the client then informs the therapist. I found this unique as the client has the information and provides it to the therapist – not the other way round.

Retraining as a Clinical Hypnotherapist and Regression Therapist

To prove it for myself, I undertook over three years of training, first as a clinical hypnotherapist and then as a regression therapist. I thought I’d prove it definitively to my own sceptical mind, one way or the other.

Discovering that Hypnotherapy Works

During my qualification process and subsequently undertaking client work, I discovered something quite remarkable. Hypnotherapy works. It’s real. Clients can access their subconscious and inform the therapist about issues that can help alleviate pain and create healing outcomes.

Stage Hypnotism is Hugely Misleading

I discovered that the stage hypnotism that many of us have seen on TV is very misleading – it gives the wrong impression. In therapeutic clinical hypnosis:-

  • No one can ever make you do anything you don’t want to

  • No one can control you

  • You are not powerless – not even for a single second

  • You remain conscious and alert during the session

  • You remember everything during and after the session

Developing Enhanced Techniques

With my analytical approach, I developed my techniques and undertook much deeper training to enhance the effectiveness of my therapeutic protocols. I believe I now offer a very unique approach to hypnotherapy that can be powerful and effective.
